Pre Rosh Hashanah Incursion for local Kinders

Today, we had a wonderful incursion at one of the local Kinders! We introduced the children to the many Rosh Hashanah’s symbols, explaining each one’s significance. After that, we played a fun game of bingo where, once all the symbols were covered, the kids excitedly shouted “Shana Tova!”

We followed it up with a lively song about apples and honey, featuring our puppets, and the children enthusiastically joined in, even dancing along to the famous Macarena tune!

We also shared two wonderful PJ Library books about Rosh Hashanah, exploring the traditions we observe during the holiday.

To wrap things up, we enjoyed apples dipped in honey, leaving everyone with a sweet taste.

We gifted the kindergarten a special book, along with cubes featuring information about Jewish holidays and a “Shana Tova” postcard for the kids to decorate and take home.
