Ambassadors Program
Program Vision
The Ambassadors Program is a leadership journey involving personal growth, empowerment, and a unique approach to Jewish identity. It is designed to empower Jewish teens to become confident leaders who can express and share their Jewish identity with non-Jewish teens. It emphasises a unique, personal journey of understanding, internalising, and loving Judaism, while fostering the ability to present these values to their peers.
Why?
In a world where identity and tradition are increasingly challenged, and with rising antisemitism and social division, it’s crucial for Jewish teens to confidently understand and express their heritage. The Ambassadors Program empowers them to explore their Jewish identity, equipping them with leadership skills to engage in today’s complex, diverse world.
Who is it For?
This program is tailored for Jewish teens who are curious, passionate, and eager to learn leadership skills. It is for those who want to explore their own Jewish identity more deeply and become ambassadors of their culture, faith, and traditions to others—both Jewish and non-Jewish peers.
There is not requirement of going to present at schools in order to participate as the value of the program resides on the skills gained.
The Journey Approach
This program isn’t just a course; it’s a personal and communal journey. Teens will learn to share their beliefs proudly as they embark on a path of discovery, moving through phases of:
- **I know** (learning key aspects of Judaism)
- **I do** (practising and internalising Jewish customs)
- **I love** (developing a personal connection and passion for their heritage)
Through guided discussions, interactive activities, and opportunities for reflection, participants will gain the confidence and knowledge to present their beliefs, history, and practices to others.
Desired Outcomes
– Participants will walk away with a toolkit of resources and experiences that empower them as ambassadors of Judaism.
– Teens will develop strong public speaking and leadership skills as they go to other schools to present in front of their peers.
– They will build a solid foundation in their Jewish knowledge, enabling them to answer questions, share stories, and represent their community in a positive way.
– Teens will cultivate a deep, personal love for their Jewish identity and develop the confidence to share this passion with others.
Fully Funded Program
This program is offered free of charge, thanks to a partnership with Together For Humanity, an inclusive, not-for-profit educational organisation that works with school communities to combat prejudice and advance belonging and inclusion. It provides an unparalleled opportunity for teens to grow without the financial burden, allowing them to focus solely on their learning and leadership journey.
