Learning about Jewish life doesn’t always need to be behind a desk. UJEB’s J-Lunch program provides weekly in-school social activities, cultural sessions and events for secondary school students.
Having J-Lunch in schools provides time each week for Jewish students to connect with other Jewish peers in their school, as well as encouraging them to join together with the wider student community at UJEB and communal events.
The sessions are led by charismatic youth leaders, who run activities and discussions around contemporary topics including Israel, festivals, Jewish food, music and current affairs.
J-Lunch is currently running online programs for all Jewish students during the Covid-19 restrictions, offering weekly netflix parties, study support sessions, Zoom game rooms and plenty of competitions.
If you are a school interested in hosting J-Lunch for your Jewish students, contact our Teen Engagement Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
