UJEB Board | Board Position Available

BOARD POSITION AVAILABLE (honorary/unpaid role)

For almost 130 years, UJEB has been providing Jewish education and culturally rich experiences to students who do not attend Jewish schools. We aim to inspire a positive connection with Jewish identity and to help our students develop into proud and engaged members of the community.

A position on UJEB’s board of management has become available. If you have relevant experience and a passion for what we do, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will be appointed as a director of UJEB, attend board meetings and sit on one of our four subcommittees. To apply, please send a cover email and your CV to president@ujeb.org.au with “Board Position” in the subject line. This is an honorary role on the UJEB Board of Directors so please do not apply if you are seeking paid employment. For more information, please call the UJEB office on 03 9523 6844.

Applications close on Friday 14 April 2023.

We aim to achieve this through our 4 key Values:

Identity

Our programs support learners in exploring and understanding their Jewish identity. We hope to foster a feeling of connection to Jewish life and Israel.

Engagement

The quality educational experiences provided aim to create curious and passionate learners who are engaged with their Jewish identity.

Community

Program participants can begin establishing a lifelong connection and commitment not only to their local Jewish community, but to the wider, global Jewish community.

Inclusivity

We strongly believe that all Jews have a right to learn about their Jewish identity. We aim to create programs that cater to those with special needs, and programs that are affordable to all.
